ଓଡ଼ିଶା ହେବ ପୂର୍ବ ଭାରତର MSME ଗେଟ୍ ୱେ । MSME କ୍ଷେତ୍ରରେ ଭାରତର ସବୁଠାରୁ ଆକର୍ଷଣୀୟ ରାଜ୍ୟ ଭାବରେ ଓଡ଼ିଶା ଉଭା ହୋଇଛି ବୋଲି କହିଛନ୍ତି ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ମୋହନ ଚରଣ ମାଝୀ । ଲଘୁ ଉଦ୍ୟୋଗ ଭାରତୀ ପକ୍ଷରୁ ଆୟୋଜିତ ଓଡ଼ିଶା ଶିଳ୍ପ ସମ୍ମିଳନୀ-୨୦୨୫ ଉଦଯାପନୀ ସମାରୋହରେ ଯୋଗଦେଇ ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ କହିଛନ୍ତି, ଏହି ସମାବେଶ ଆମର MSME କ୍ଷେତ୍ରରେ ଔଦ୍ୟୋଗୀକତା ନବସୃଜନକୁ ପ୍ରୋତ୍ସାହନ ପ୍ରଦାନ କରିବାରେ ଗୁରୁତ୍ୱପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଭୂମିକା ଗ୍ରହଣ କରିବ। ଚଳିତ ବର୍ଷ ଭିତ୍ତିଭୂମି ନିର୍ମାଣ ପାଇଁ GDPର ୬.1 ପ୍ରତିଶତ ବିନିଯୋଗ କରାଯାଇଛି ।

At the Odisha Industry Conclave 2025, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi announced that Odisha aims to become the MSME gateway of East India. The event — Odisha Shilpa Sammilani-2025 — saw participation from entrepreneurs and industry stakeholders across the state. The government has committed to investing 6.1% of the year’s GDP towards infrastructure development, to support industrial growth.
