Odisha Glows in Festive Spirit as Gajalakshmi Puja Begins Across the State

The state of Odisha is abuzz with devotion and celebration as the grand Gajalakshmi Puja kicks off across districts — from Dhenkanal to Kendrapara. Goddess Lakshmi has been ceremoniously invoked, and rituals are in full swing. Dhenkanal hosts 38 vibrant puja mandaps, while over 68 mandaps in Kendrapara shine with dazzling decorations, ornate arches, and colourful lights. The air reverberates with chanting of Vedic hymns, conch sounds, and temple bells. Meanwhile, the police remain vigilant to ensure crowd control, traffic management, and smooth law and order throughout the festivities.
