The scheme inauguration took place as part of the programme in Ganjam, where multiple beneficiaries were present.

At the event, the Chief Minister participated in a mass marriage function under the programme and formally performed kanyadaan (the ritual of giving away the bride), offering his blessings to the couples. This initiative is designed to ease the financial burden on families by providing direct support for weddings and ensuring dignified matrimonial ceremonies
