ପଶ୍ଚିମବଙ୍ଗରେ ସନ୍ଦିଗ୍ଧ ନିପା ଭୂତାଣୁରେ ସଂକ୍ରମଣ ଦେଖା ଦେବା ପରେ ଓଡିଶାରେ ଆଲର୍ଟ। ଉତ୍ତର ୨୪ ପ୍ରଗଣାର ଏକ ଘରୋଇ ହସ୍ପିଟାଲରେ ୨ଜଣ ନର୍ସ ସନ୍ଦିଗ୍ଧ ନିପା ଭୂତାଣୁରେ ସଂକ୍ରମିତ ହୋଇଛନ୍ତି। ସେମାନଙ୍କଠାରେ ରହିଥିବା ଲକ୍ଷଣ ନିପା ଭୂତାଣୁ ବୋଲି ପ୍ରାଥମିକ ରିପୋର୍ଟରୁ ସ୍ପଷ୍ଟ ହୋଇଛି। ତେବେ ପଶ୍ଚିମବଙ୍ଗରୁ ଓଡ଼ିଶାକୁ ପ୍ରତିଦିନ ଲୋକଙ୍କ ଯିବାଆସିବା ଲାଗି ରହିଥିବାରୁ ଓଡ଼ିଶା ପାଇଁ ଏହା ଭୟ ବଢ଼ାଇଛି। ଓଡ଼ିଶାରେ ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ନିପା ଭୂତାଣୁ ଚିହ୍ନଟ ହୋଇନାହାନ୍ତି। ସେପଟେ ପଶ୍ଚିମବଙ୍ଗରେ ସଂକ୍ରମିତଙ୍କ ନମୁନା ଏମ୍ସକୁ ପଠାଯାଇଛି। ସଂକ୍ରମଣ ରୋକିବାକୁ ଏକ ଜାତୀୟ ଯୁଗ୍ମ ସଂକ୍ରମଣ ରେସପନ୍ସ ଟିମ୍ ଗଠନ ହୋଇଛି।

Odisha has been put on alert following suspected Nipah virus infections reported in West Bengal. Two nurses at a private hospital in North 24 Parganas have shown symptoms consistent with Nipah virus, as per preliminary reports. With regular movement of people between West Bengal and Odisha, concerns have increased in the state. However, no Nipah case has been detected in Odisha so far. Samples of the infected patients have been sent to AIIMS, and a national joint infection response team has been formed to prevent the spread.
