ଜାତିର ପିତା, ମହାତ୍ମା, ବାପୁ...ଅନେକ ନାଁ କିନ୍ତୁ ପରିଚୟ ଗୋଟିଏ... ସିଏ ମହାତ୍ମା ଗାନ୍ଧୀ। ଆଜି ବାପୁଙ୍କ ୧୫୬ତମ ଜନ୍ମଜୟନ୍ତୀ। ଆଜିର ଦିନ ମହାତ୍ମା ଗାନ୍ଧୀଙ୍କ ଜୀବନ, ସଫଳତା ଏବଂ ନୈତିକ ମୂଲ୍ୟବୋଧ ଉପରେ ପ୍ରତିଫଳିତ କରିବାର ସୁଯୋଗ ଦେଇଥାଏ। ବିଂଶ ଶତାବ୍ଦୀର ସର୍ବଶ୍ରେଷ୍ଠ ସତ୍ୟର ପୂଜାରୀ ତଥା ଆଦର୍ଶ ଓ ଅହିଂସାର ପ୍ରତୀକ ହେଉଛନ୍ତି ମହାତ୍ମା ଗାନ୍ଧୀ। ତାଙ୍କ ବିଚାରଧାରା ଥିଲା ସତ୍ୟ ହିଁ ଈଶ୍ୱର। ସାରା ଦେଶରେ ସେ ବାପୁ ଭାବରେ ବେଶ୍ ଜଣାଶୁଣା। ଗାନ୍ଧିଜୀ କେବଳ ଭାରତରେ ନୁହନ୍ତି ବରଂ ସମଗ୍ର ବିଶ୍ୱରେ ଜଣେ ଲୋକପ୍ରିୟ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତିତ୍ୱ। ଭାରତର ସ୍ୱାଧୀନତା, କଲ୍ୟାଣ ଏବଂ ପ୍ରଗତି ପାଇଁ ସେ ନିଜର ସର୍ବସ୍ୱ ହରେଇବାକୁ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ ଥିଲେ। ସାରା ଭାରତ ବର୍ଷ ଏପରିକି ବିଦେଶରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ମହାତ୍ମା ଗାନ୍ଧୀଙ୍କ ଜନ୍ମ ଦିବସ ପାଳନ କରାଯାଉଛି। ତେବେ ତାଙ୍କ ଜନ୍ମଜୟନ୍ତୀ ଅବସରରେ ରାଜଘାଟରେ ଗାନ୍ଧିଜୀଙ୍କ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟରେ ଶ୍ରଦ୍ଧାଞ୍ଜଳି ଦେଇଛନ୍ତି ପ୍ରଧାନମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ମୋଦିଙ୍କ ସମେତ ବହୁ ବରିଷ୍ଠ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତି।
