Major redevelopment is planned in the state administrative zone as several old government buildings are set to be demolished to make way for modern infrastructure. The Lok Seva Bhawan, considered the nerve centre of the state administration, along with the Odisha Legislative Assembly complex, will be rebuilt with a new design and upgraded facilities.

The existing OSEPA and ADM offices will be dismantled to construct the new Lok Seva Bhawan. Rajiv Bhawan, the Na Tala Building and Sech Sadan will also be completely demolished as part of the project.

The construction of the new Lok Seva Bhawan and Assembly complex will be carried out in three phases, marking a significant overhaul of the state’s administrative infrastructure.
