The state government has spent lakhs of rupees on creating mini parks for public recreation in various areas, including one in Ward 12, Nua Pali near Khelpadia in Binika town, Subarnapur district of Odisha. These parks were intended to provide green, recreational facilities for local residents. However, locals say that while money was spent on construction and equipment, the facilities are now in a dilapidated state and lying unused, raising questions about maintenance and accountability.
