Malkangiri’s Rakhilguda village witnessed a horrifying incident where a woman was brutally murdered and beheaded under mysterious circumstances. The severed head could not be traced, forcing villagers to perform the final rites using only the body, placing a mound of soil in place of the head during the cremation rituals.
