Makar Sankranti: Puri Police Launch Special Drive Against Manja Thread

ମକର ସଂକ୍ରାନ୍ତି ପୂର୍ବରୁ ପୁରୀ ସହରରେ ପୋଲିସର ସ୍ବତନ୍ତ୍ର ଅଭିଯାନ । ମାଞ୍ଜା ସୂତା ବିକ୍ରୟ ଓ ବ୍ୟବହାର ବିରୋଧରେ ସ୍ବତନ୍ତ୍ର ଅଭିଯାନ ଚାଲିଛି। ପ୍ରତିଦିନ ଲକ୍ଷଲକ୍ଷ ଶ୍ରଦ୍ଧାଳୁ ବଡ଼ଦାଣ୍ଡ ସହିତ ସହରର ବିଭିନ୍ନ ଅଞ୍ଚଳରେ ବୁଲୁଛନ୍ତି। ଏପରି ପରିସ୍ଥିତିରେ ମାଞ୍ଜା ଲାଗିଥିବା ଗୁଡ଼ି ସୂତା ଦ୍ୱାରା ଦୁର୍ଘଟଣା ଏଡେଇବା ପାଇଁ ପୁରୀଙ୍କ ନିର୍ଦେଶରେ ସହରରେ ସ୍ବତନ୍ତ୍ର ଅଭିଯାନ କରାଯାଇଛି। ବଡ଼ଦାଣ୍ଡରେ ମାଞ୍ଜା ସୂତା ଲାଗିଥିବା ଗୁଡ଼ି ନ ଉଡ଼ାଇବାକୁ ପୋଲିସ ଅପିଲ୍ କରିଛି ।
Ahead of Makar Sankranti, the Puri Police have launched a special drive across Puri city against the sale and use of Manja thread. The drive is aimed at preventing accidents as lakhs of devotees move daily through Bada Danda and various parts of the city.
