Today, on the sixth day of the world-renowned Dhanu Yatra festival in Bargarh, the town is transformed into Mathura Nagari as part of the 11-day open-air theatre event. During a staged visit, Maharaj Kansa entered the local police station to assess its functioning as part of the dramatic enactment and, finding shortcomings, administered punishment to three accused persons. He also reviewed how government services are delivered in offices like the Sales Tax Office and PWD Office during his city tour.
