ଆଉ କାଚ ବୋତଲରେ ମିଳିବନି ମଦ । ବ୍ୟବହାର କରାଯିବ ଟେଟ୍ରା ପ୍ୟାକ୍ । ଅର୍ଥାତ ଫ୍ରୁଟି ଭଳି ମୋଟା କାଗଜ ଖୋଳରେ ମିଳିବ ମଦ । ବିଧାନସଭାରେ ବିଧାୟକ ସନା ମହାକୁଡ଼ଙ୍କ ପ୍ରଶ୍ନରେ ଏଭଳି ସୂଚନା ଦେଇଛନ୍ତି ଅବକାରୀ ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ପୃଥ୍ୱୀରାଜ ହରିଚନ୍ଦନ । ପରିବେଶ ସୁରକ୍ଷା ଦୃଷ୍ଟିରୁ ସରକାର ଏଭଳି ପଦକ୍ଷେପ ନେଉଥିବା ବେଳେ ନୂଆ ଅବକାରୀ ନୀତିରେ ଏନେଇ ସ୍ପଷ୍ଟତା ଆସିବ ବୋଲି ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ସୂଚନା ଦେଇଛନ୍ତି ।

Liquor will no longer be available in glass bottles and will instead be sold in Tetra Pak cartons, similar to fruit juice packaging, informed Odisha Excise Minister Prithviraj Harichandan in the Vidhan Sabha. The announcement came in response to a question raised by MLA Sona Mohakud.

The Minister stated that the government is taking this step keeping environmental protection in view. He further clarified that detailed provisions regarding the packaging shift will be included in the new Excise Policy.
