ସ୍ବର୍ଗଦ୍ବାର ସମୁଦ୍ରରେ ବିରାଟ ଏକ ଅଘଟଣକୁ ରୋକିଲେ ଲାଇଫଗାର୍ଡ। ସେକ୍ଟର ୧୦ ଛତିଶଗଡ଼ର ୪ଜଣ ଓ ଜଣେ ମହାରାଷ୍ଟ୍ରର ସ୍ନାନ କରୁଥିବା ସମୟରେ ବିରାଟ ଏକ ଲହଡ଼ି ମାଡ଼ିଆସିଲା ୫ଜଣଙ୍କୁ ଭସାଇନେଲା । ସେଠାରେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ଥିବା ଲାଇଫଗାର୍ଡମାନେ ତୁରନ୍ତ ସମୁଦ୍ର ପାଣିକୁ ଲମ୍ପ ମାରି ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କଲେ ।

At Swargadwar Beach in Odisha, lifeguards prevented a major sea accident when a sudden heavy wave swept five bathers — four from Chhattisgarh and one from Maharashtra — into the Bay of Bengal while they were bathing. The on-duty lifeguards — Mahendra Behera, A Bhagan, K D Behera and P Tirupati — immediately plunged into the turbulent sea, rescued all five and provided first aid. All rescued persons are reported to be safe and healthy after treatment.
