A tragic incident has been reported from Dimiripal forest under the Karatapata Beat of Angul Range, where a Leopard lost its life after getting caught in a poachers’ snare. The trap, reportedly set for wild boar, fatally injured the rare tiger. Despite being tranquilized and rescued by forest officials, the animal succumbed to its injuries during treatment at Kuhlasinga Nursery.
