Members of the Jatra Committee have stated that producer Ananta Narayan Dhal, popularly known as Nandu Babu, will provide compensation following a dispute involving actors Sai and Payal, who did not arrive when asked despite expectations. The committee’s remarks came amid ongoing tensions within the Jatra (folk theatre) community in Odisha, where previous complaints and FIRs have been filed against Nandu Babu over alleged harassment and threats toward artistes.
