Inter-State Cyber Fraud Gang Busted in Bhubaneswar, 12 Arrested

କମିଶନରେଟ୍ ପୋଲିସ ହାତରେ ଆନ୍ତଃରାଜ୍ୟ ସାଇବର ଲୁଟେରା ଗ୍ୟାଙ୍ଗ୍। ୧୨ ଲୁଟେରାଙ୍କୁ କାବୁ କଲା ବଡ଼ଗଡ଼ ଥାନା ଓ ସ୍ପେଶାଲ୍ ସ୍କ୍ବାଡ୍ ପୋଲିସ। ସାଇବର ଅପରାଧୀମାନେ ହେଲେ ବିହାର, କେରଳ ଏବଂ ଓଡ଼ିଶାର। ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପାଖରୁ ୬୦ ମୋବାଇଲ୍, ଲାପଟପ୍, ଗିଫ୍ଟ କାର୍ଡ ଓ ଲଟେରୀ କାର୍ଡ ଜବତ ହୋଇଛି। ଭୁବନେଶ୍ୱର ବଡଗଡ଼ ଜଣକ ଘର ଭଡ଼ା ନେଇ ଚଳାଇଥିଲେ ଅପରେସନ୍। ଏନେଇ ବିସ୍ତୃତ ସୂଚନା ଦେଉଛନ୍ତି ପୋଲିସ କମିଶନର ଏସ୍.ଦେବଦତ୍ତ ସିଂ।

The Commissionerate Police have busted an inter-state cyber fraud gang and arrested 12 accused in a major operation carried out by Badagada Police Station and the Special Squad. The arrested cyber criminals are from Bihar, Kerala and Odisha.

Police seized around 60 mobile phones, laptops, gift cards and lottery cards from the accused. The gang was operating from a rented house in the Badagada area of Bhubaneswar.

Police Commissioner S. Devdatt Singh shared detailed information about the operation and said further investigation is underway to trace the network and its links.
