Following the KISS student death incident, former Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe Minister Parma Pujari has raised serious questions over the functioning and safety arrangements of private educational institutions. He termed the loss of a student’s life within an institution as highly condemnable and stressed that authorities entrusted with monitoring such institutions must be held accountable.

Pujari questioned why those responsible for supervision were allegedly negligent, despite being assigned the duty of oversight. He said parents send their children to institutions with high hopes for a better future, but due to management failures, young lives are being lost.
