A distraught father says his daughter left her marital home and went to Bangalore to find work because her husband was unable to earn enough to even provide food. She allegedly didn’t travel with anyone and left their child in her parents’ care as she sought employment in the big city.

According to her father, she felt compelled to leave because basic needs at home were not being met, and she hoped to earn a living in Bangalore. He maintains she went alone, not with another person, in search of better opportunities.
