In a shocking social incident from Kongra village under Tentulikhunti block of Nabarangpur district, Duryodhan Majhi was allegedly denied Charikandha (shoulder support during funeral procession) after his death. The allegation is that since his two daughters had married outside their caste, neither local residents nor even his elder son came forward to shoulder his mortal remains.
