Calling the farmers’ agitation a “super flop”, Odisha Food Supplies Minister Krushna Chandra Patra reacted to the Odisha bandh call given by Naba Nirman Krushak Sangathan. He said that farmers did not respond to the bandh call anywhere in the state.

The minister stated that no farmers came out in support of the agitation and that real farmers were not part of the movement. According to him, farmers did not take to the streets, making the bandh call by Naba Nirman Krushak Sangathan a complete failure.
