Extortion Demand Turns Violent at Govt Rice Godown in Kamakshyanagar

ବଟି ପାଇଁ ମରଣାନ୍ତକ ଆକ୍ରମଣ। ଢେଙ୍କାନାଳ କାମାକ୍ଷାନଗର ଥାନା କେନ୍ଦୁପଶିରେ ଥିବା ସରକାରୀ ଚାଉଳ ଗୋଦାମରେ ବଟି ମାଗିବାକୁ ନେଇ ପିଆଇଙ୍କୁ ଆକ୍ରମଣ କଲେ ଦୁର୍ବୁତ୍ତ। ଏହାଦେଖି କେନ୍ଦୁପଶି ଗ୍ରାମର ତପନ ନାୟକ ବୁଝାଶୁଝା କରିବାକୁ ଆସିବାରୁ ସେ ବି ଆକ୍ରମଣର ଶିକାର ହୋଇଥିଲେ। ଗୁରୁତର ଅବସ୍ଥାରେ ତାଙ୍କୁ କଟକ ବଡ଼ମେଡିକାଲରେ ଭର୍ତ୍ତି କରାଯାଇଛି।
A murderous attack was reported following an extortion demand at a government rice godown located at Kendupashi under Kamakshyanagar police station in Dhenkanal district. The incident occurred yesterday when rice loading was underway at the godown. Miscreants allegedly reached the spot, demanded extortion money from the PAI in charge, issued threats, and later assaulted him.
