Panic gripped residents after a lone elephant entered Budhibili village under Kamakhyanagar block and the Jiral Forest Section late last night. The elephant reportedly entered the village and consumed stored paddy from a house. For the past few days, elephant movement has been reported in Budhibili, Guneibili and Rankia villages, creating fear among locals.
