The DGCA team has begun its investigation into the charter flight accident that occurred in the Jalda area of Rourkela. Officials reached the crash site and initiated a detailed probe to determine the cause behind the incident.

Meanwhile, among the injured undergoing treatment at JP Hospital in Rourkela, two persons have been airlifted. Sunil Agrawal and Sabita Agrawal were airlifted following their own request, as per available information.

At present, two passengers and two pilots are undergoing treatment at JP Hospital. The incident has also brought to light how local residents risked their lives to rescue the aircraft occupants immediately after the crash.
