Dense fog conditions caused major disruption to flight operations at Bhubaneswar airport on Tuesday morning, leading to excessive delays in landing. A flight that was originally scheduled to depart at 5:40 AM was first delayed to 7:30 AM, then rescheduled again to 8:30 AM, before finally landing around 11:00 AM due to poor visibility.

Sharing their experience, a passenger said, “Our flight was repeatedly delayed. The landing finally happened at 11 AM. All this happened because of dense fog.” Several passengers expressed inconvenience as visibility issues continued to affect flight movement.

The thick fog (kuhuḍi) over Bhubaneswar significantly reduced visibility, resulting in delayed landings and extended waiting hours for travellers. Weather-related disruptions continue to impact morning flight schedules at the airport.
