In a major development in the high-profile Police Sub-Inspector recruitment examination scam, the CBI has taken three accused on a four-day remand for detailed investigation. The accused include prime suspect Shankar Prusti along with Suresh and Sagar.

The Special CBI Court granted permission for the remand, following which the central agency brought the three accused from Bhubaneswar’s Jharpada Jail for intensive interrogation. The CBI is conducting a thorough probe to uncover the full extent of the examination scam and identify all those involved.
