ମହାରାଷ୍ଟ୍ରରେ ପୁଣି ଚାଲିଲା ବିଜେପି ମ୍ୟାଜିକ୍। ନଗର ନିଗମ ନିର୍ବାଚନରେ ଏକତରଫା ବଡ଼ ବିଜୟ ଆଡ଼କୁ ମୁହାଁଇଛି ବିଜେପି। ମୁମ୍ବାଇର ୨୭୭ ୱାର୍ଡରୁ ୧୦୦ରୁ ଅଧିକ ସିଟରେ ଆଗୁଆ ରହିଛି ବିଜେପି। ଶିବସେନା ଓ ଏନସିପି ଉଭୟ ଦଳ ୫୦ରୁ କିଛିଟା ସିଟ୍ ଆଗରେ ରହିଛନ୍ତି। ସେହିଭଳି ଦୁଇ ଅଙ୍କ ସଂଖ୍ୟା ହାସଲ କରିପାରିନି କଂଗ୍ରେସ। ଏଥର ନିର୍ବାଚନ ବେଶ୍ ରୋଚକ ଥିଲା। ୨୦ ବର୍ଷ ପରେ ରାଜ୍ ଠାକରେ ଓ ଉଦ୍ଧବ ଠାକରେ ଦୁଇ ଭାଇ ଏକାଠି ହୋଇଥିଲେ। ବିଜେପି-କଂଗ୍ରେସ ବି ହାତ ମିଳେଇଥିଲେ।

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is heading towards a one-sided victory in the municipal corporation elections in Maharashtra, with a strong lead in more than 100 wards out of Mumbai’s 277 wards.

Both Shiv Sena and the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) are leading in a little over 50 seats each, while the Congress has failed to reach double-digit numbers. The results indicate BJP’s clear edge in the civic battle.

The election turned particularly interesting as, after nearly 20 years, brothers Raj Thackeray and Uddhav Thackeray came together. The polls also witnessed unusual political alignments, with BJP and Congress seen joining hands, adding to the political intrigue.
