Senior Biju Janata Dal (BJD) leader Badri Patra has made a strong statement, claiming that the party lost the election because Naveen Patnaik did not actively campaign. According to him, voters searched for Naveen Patnaik but could not find him.

Quoting public sentiment, Badri Patra said, “People said, if Naveen Patnaik is not there, there will be no vote.” He further stated that those who kept Naveen Patnaik away are responsible for the party’s defeat.
