Bird Census Begins at Chilika Lake, Counting Teams Deployed Across Five Ranges

ଆଜିଠୁ ଆରମ୍ଭ ହୋଇଛି ଚିଲିକାରେ ପକ୍ଷୀ ଗଣନା। ୫ଟି ରେଞ୍ଜରେ ମୋଟ ୨୨ଟି ଗଣନାକାରୀ ଟିମ୍ ସାମିଲ ହୋଇଛନ୍ତି। ବାଲୁଗାଁ, ରମ୍ଭା, ଟାଙ୍ଗୀ, ଚିଲିକା ଓ ସାତପଡ଼ା ରେଞ୍ଜରେ ଗଣନା ହେଉଛି। ସମଗ୍ର ଚିଲିକାକୁ ଚଳିତବର୍ଷ କେତେ ସଂଖ୍ୟକ ଦେଶୀ-ବିଦେଶୀ ପକ୍ଷୀଙ୍କ ସମାଗମ ହୋଇଛି, କେତେ ପ୍ରଜାତିର ପକ୍ଷୀ ଆସିଛନ୍ତି ।
The annual bird census has begun today at Chilika Lake, with counting teams deployed across five ranges to assess the presence of migratory and local bird species. A total of 22 counting teams have been engaged in the Balugaon, Rambha, Tangi, Chilika and Satapada ranges for the exercise.
