In a major development amid rising gold prices, nearly 1.5 tonnes of gold reserves have been identified in the Kanjia gold mine in Madansahi area of Mayurbhanj district, Odisha. According to findings from a G-2 level survey conducted by the Geological Survey of India (GSI), the mine holds approximately 1,462 kg and 730 grams of gold.
