Bargarh MLA Ashwini Sadanagi Refutes Rumours of Son’s Involvement in Baradol Incident

Bargarh MLA Ashwini Sadanagi has strongly denied social media rumours claiming his son was attacked during the recent Baradol incident. Addressing a press meet on Tuesday, the MLA clarified that his son was not present at the spot and is currently with him, visiting different areas. The controversy erupted after an XUV car was vandalised and some occupants were assaulted by locals in Baradol on Monday evening following a road accident that claimed a woman’s life. Protesting villagers had blocked the road demanding speed breakers, and tensions escalated when the vehicle tried to pass through. Videos of the attack went viral, sparking misinformation on social media, which the MLA termed as deliberate propaganda. He also stated that he has discussed the matter with villagers from the affected area.
