A tragic accident occurred during an army training exercise in Sikkim, where a soldier lost his life. The incident took place in the Rangpo mining area, when a boat capsized during river rafting, leading to the jawan being swept away by strong currents.
The body of the soldier was later recovered from the river current. The deceased has been identified as Lance Naik Rajasekhar of the 191 Artillery Regiment, according to available information from the incident site.
