A 24-year-old youth from Narla in Kalahandi district hatched a shocking plan to extort money from his own father. He posed as a Naxal and sent a threatening letter demanding ₹35 lakh, warning of dire consequences if the demand wasn’t met. The frightened father immediately reported the matter to the police. After an investigation, it was revealed that the son himself had written the letter in disguise. The accused Ankush Aggrawal was soon arrested, leaving the entire village stunned by his betrayal.
