ନିର୍ବାଚନୀ ପ୍ରତିଶ୍ରୁତି ପାଳନ କରିବାକୁ ୫ଶହ କୁକୁରଙ୍କୁ ହତ୍ୟା। ଅମାନବୀୟ ଭାବେ ବିଷ ଇଞ୍ଜେକସନ ଦେଇ କୁକୁରଙ୍କୁ ମାରିଦେଲେ। ୧୫ ଦିନ ଭିତରେ ୫ ଶହ କୁକୁରଙ୍କୁ ହତ୍ୟା କରାଯାଇଛି। ତେଲେଙ୍ଗାନାର ହାନମକୋଣ୍ଡାରେ ଏଭଳି ଏକ ଘଟଣାର ଚର୍ଚ୍ଚାର ବିଷୟ ପାଲଟିଛି। ଘଟଣାରେ ୧୫ ଜଣଙ୍କ ବିରୋଧରେ ମାମଲା ରୁଜୁ ହୋଇଥିବା ବେଳେ ପୋଲିସ ତନାଘନା କରୁଛି। ସ୍ଥାନୀୟ ଗ୍ରାମ ପଞ୍ଚାୟତ ନିର୍ବାଚନରେ ଅନେକ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥୀ ନିର୍ବାଚନ ଜିତିଲେ ମାଙ୍କଡ ଓ କୁକୁରଙ୍କ ଦୌରାତ୍ମ୍ୟରୁ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ତ୍ରାହି ଦେବେ ବୋଲି ପ୍ରତିଶ୍ରୁତି ଦେଇଥିଲେ। ଏହି ପ୍ରତିଶ୍ରୁତି ଆଧାରରେ ଏଭଳି କୁକୁର ହତ୍ୟା ପ୍ଲାନିଂ କରାଯାଇଛି ବୋଲି ପୋଲିସ ଜାଣିବାକୁ ପାଇଛି।

In a shocking incident, around 500 dogs were allegedly killed within 15 days in Hanamkonda district of Telangana to fulfil an election promise. The dogs were reportedly killed by administering poison injections in an inhuman manner. Police have registered cases against 15 people and launched an investigation. According to police sources, during the local gram panchayat elections, several candidates had promised to free villagers from the menace of monkeys and stray dogs after winning. The mass killing of dogs was allegedly planned and carried out based on this election promise.
