The Odisha Law Minister on Friday disclosed in the Vidhan Sabha that over the past 43 years, more than 58 kilograms of gold and over 1,058 kilograms of silver have been received from the hundi (temple donation box) of Shree Jagannath Temple. The revelation aimed to clear persistent doubts among devotees about how much gold and silver is offered to Lord Jagannath and where the collected money goes.

According to the data shared in the Assembly, the substantial quantity of precious metals has accumulated through donations made by devotees with an open heart to Mahaprabhu.
