ବିଜୁ ଜନତା ଦଳକୁ ବଡ଼ ଧକ୍କା । ତାଳଚେରରେ ଭୁଶୁଡ଼ିଲା ବିଜେଡି ଗଡ଼। ବିଜେଡିରୁ ଇସ୍ତଫା ଦେଲେ ତାଳଚେର ନଗରପାଳଙ୍କ ସମେତ ୧୩ କାଉନସିଲର। ଆସନ୍ତା ୨୮ ତାରିଖରେ ସମସ୍ତେ ବିଜେପିରେ ମିଶିବା ସମ୍ଭାବନା ରହିଛି। ଗତ ୧୦ ବର୍ଷ ହେଲା ବିଜେଡିରୁ ତାଳଚେର ନଗରପାଳ ଭାବେ ନିର୍ବାଚିତ ହୋଇଥିଲେ ପବିତ୍ର ଭୂତିଆ। ବିଜେଡିର ସଂଗଠନକୁ ସୁଦୃଢ କରିବାରୁ ବଡ଼ ଭୂମିକା ତୁଲାଉଥିଲେ । ଆଜି ୧୩ ଜଣ କାଉନସିଲରଙ୍କ ସହିତ ସେ ବିଜେଡିକୁ ବାଏ ବାଏ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ବିଜେଡି ସରକାର ସମୟରେ ତାଳଚେରକୁ ଅବହେଳା କରାଯାଇଥିବା ଅଭିଯୋଗ କରି ସମସ୍ତେ ଦଳର ପ୍ରାଥମିକ ସଦସ୍ୟ ପଦରୁ ଇସ୍ତଫା ଦେଇଥିବା କହିଛନ୍ତି ।

Thirteen councillors including the nagarpal of Talcher municipality have resigned from the Biju Janata Dal, delivering a major blow to the party in one of its strongholds. The resignations come amid allegations that Talcher was neglected during BJD’s rule, pushing local representatives to break away.

According to insiders, there is a strong possibility that the group will join the Bharatiya Janata Party on the 28th of this month — a move that could significantly change the political landscape in this region.

For over a decade, Talcher had been a loyal BJD bastion. The mass exit of councillors marks a sharp turn in local political allegiance and raises questions about BJD’s grassroots strength and governance record.
