ଆଜି ସମ୍ବଲପୁରରେ ସକାଳ ୬ରୁ ସଂଧ୍ୟା ୬ଟା ଯାଏଁ ଦୋକାନ, ବଜାର, ଅଫିସ ସବୁ ବନ୍ଦ୍ ରହିବ। ଖରିଫ ଧାନ କିଣାରେ ଅବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥା ଅଭିଯୋଗରେ ସମ୍ୱଲପୁର କୃଷକ ସୁରକ୍ଷା ସଙ୍ଗଠନର ଏହି ଆନ୍ଦୋଳନ ଡାକରାରେ ସାମିଲ ହେଲେ ଶହ ଶହ ଚାଷୀ। ତେବେ ଆଜିର ବନ୍ଦ ବେଳେ ଜାତୀୟ ରାଜପଥ ଓ ରେଳରୋକ କରିବେନି ଚାଷୀ। ମୁଖ୍ୟତଃ ସରକାରୀ ଓ ବେସରକାରୀ ଅଫିସ, ଶିକ୍ଷାନୁଷ୍ଠାନ, ବ୍ୟାଙ୍କ, ସମେତ ଦୋକାନ ବଜାର ବନ୍ଦ ରହିବ।

12-Hour Sambalpur Bandh Today Over Alleged Irregularities in Kharif Paddy Procurement

A 12-hour bandh has been called in Sambalpur today over alleged irregularities in Kharif paddy procurement. The shutdown will be observed from 6 AM to 6 PM, during which shops, markets, government and private offices, banks, and educational institutions will remain closed.

The bandh call has been given by the Sambalpur Krushak Surakshya Sangathan, with hundreds of farmers expected to participate in the protest. However, the farmers have clarified that there will be no national highway or rail blockade during the bandh.

While most commercial establishments and offices will remain shut, emergency services have been exempted. Ahead of the bandh, a massive motorcycle rally was held across the city yesterday as part of the agitation.
