ପାରମ୍ପରିକ ପିଠା କାକରା ଠାରୁ ଆରମ୍ଭ କରି ଆରିସା, ମଣ୍ଡା,ଚକୁଳି,ଅମୃତ କୁଣ୍ଡ,ତରଣ,କଦଳୀ ଭଜା, ଶାଗ କ୍ଷୀରା,ଖେଚୁଡ଼ି, ଅର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଓ ଡାଲମା ଆହୁରି କେତେ କଣ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କରି ବିକ୍ରି କରୁଛନ୍ତି। ପ୍ରାୟ ଶହେ ରୁ ଉର୍ଦ୍ଧ ପ୍ରକାର ର ଏସବୁ ଖାଦ୍ୟ,ପିଠା ର ମେଳା ରେ ବେଶ୍ ଭଲ ଚାହିଦା ରହିଛି ।ଆଉ ଏସବୁ ଖାଦ୍ୟକୁ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କରାଯାଉଛି ମିଶନ ଶକ୍ତି ର ମହିଳା ମାନଙ୍କ ଦ୍ଵାରା।ଯାହାକୁ ଖାଇବା ପାଇଁ କଟକ ବାଲିଯାତ୍ରା ଓର୍ମାସ ଭିତରେ ଦେଖିବାକୁ ମିଳିଛି ଭିଡ଼।
At the historic Baliyatra fair in Cuttack, traditional Odia food has become the centre of attraction this year. From Kakara, Arisa, Manda, Chakuli to Khichudi, Dalma, and Amrut Kunda — visitors are relishing authentic Odia delicacies prepared by women from Mission Shakti groups. Over a hundred varieties of local sweets and savoury items are being prepared using rice, coconut, and chhena.
