ଦେହ ଥରିଯାଉଛି… ଘୋଡାଇ ହେବାକୁ ପାଖରେ କମ୍ବଳଟିଏ ନାହିଁ । ଖୋଲା ଆକାଶ ତଳେ ମଶା ଗୁଡ଼ାକ କାମୁଡ଼ି କଲବଲ କରୁଛନ୍ତି । ଆଉ ଏ ଜାଡ଼ ଯନ୍ତ୍ରଣା ଗୁରୁମାନଙ୍କୁ ଛଟପଟ କରିଦେଉଛି । ଭୁବନେଶ୍ବର ଲୋୟର ପିଏମଜିର ଶୀତ କାକର ରାତିରେ ଶିକ୍ଷକଙ୍କ ଏମିତି ରାତି କଟୁଛି ।
Teachers from Bhubaneswar — specifically primary-school teachers — are spending cold nights under the open sky near the Lower PMG zone and Gandhimarg, without blankets, as mosquitoes bite them, to press their long-pending demand for regular recognition and a ₹ 4,200-grade-pay salary package.
“The body is shivering… we don’t even have a blanket by our side,” they say, underlining the ordeal of the second night of protest.
