Potato Now Sold at Just ₹6 per Kg in Balasore

ଆଳୁ କିଲୋ ୬ ଟଙ୍କା। ଯେଉଁ ଆଳୁ ଏକ ସମୟରେ ୫୦ରୁ ୬୦ ଟଙ୍କାରେ ବିକ୍ରି ହୁଏ। ସେ ଏବେ ୬ଟଙ୍କାରେ ବିକ୍ରି ହେଉଛି। ବାଲେଶ୍ଵର ସହର ଉପକଣ୍ଠ ଅଞ୍ଚଳରେ ଦୈନିକ ଏମିତି ୪ ରୁ ୫ ଟ୍ରକ୍ ଲାଗୁଛି। କିଲୋ ପିଛା ୬ ଟଙ୍କା ହିସାବ ରେ ୫୦ କିଲୋ ଅର୍ଥାତ୍ ଗୋଟିଏ ବସ୍ତା କୁ ୩୦୦ ଟଙ୍କାରେ ବିକ୍ରି କରା ଯାଉଛି।

Potatoes (Alu) that once sold for around ₹50–₹60 per kg are now being sold for just ₹6 per kg in the Balasore city outskirts area of Odisha. Daily, around 4 to 5 trucks of potatoes arrive in this region, driving down prices sharply. At this rate, a 50 kg sack works out to about ₹300 only.
