ପେଟ୍ରୋଲ ପମ୍ପ୍ ଗୁଡ଼ିକ କେବଳ PUCC ପାଇଁ କହିପାରିବେ। ସମସ୍ତ ଚାଲାଣ ଭରିବାକୁ ବାଧ୍ୟ କରିପାରିବେ ନାହିଁ ସରକାର। ଏନେଇ ବାହାନ ପୋର୍ଟାଲରେ ସଂଶୋଧନ ପାଇଁ ସରକାରଙ୍କୁ ହାଇକୋର୍ଟ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶ ଦେଇଛନ୍ତି। ସପ୍ତାହେ ପାରେ ମାମଲାର ପରବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ଶୁଣାଣି ହେବ।

The Odisha government has withdrawn its controversial order making a valid Pollution Under Control Certificate (PUCC) mandatory for buying petrol at fuel stations. In an affidavit submitted to the High Court, the state clarified that petrol pumps can only advise customers to have a PUCC but cannot force them to produce it for refueling. The court has directed the government to modify the Vahan portal accordingly and issue a formal notification to prevent inconvenience to vehicle owners. The next hearing has been scheduled for a week later.
