Odisha to Build More Dams for Irrigation, Says CM Mohan Majhi

‘ଚାଷୀକୁ ଆଉ ଜଳକଷ୍ଟ ଭୋଗିବାକୁ ପଡ଼ିବନି। ଚାଷୀ ପାଖରେ ଜଳସେଚନ ସୁବିଧା ପହଞ୍ଚିବ । ପାଣିକୁ ସଂରକ୍ଷଣ ରଖିବାକୁ ଅଧିକରୁ ଅଧିକ ଡ୍ୟାମ୍ କରାଯିବ । ଫଳରେ ଚାଷୀ ଆଉ ଫସଲହାନୀଜନିତ କଷ୍ଟ ଭୋଗିବାକୁ ପଡ଼ିବନି। ’ ଆଜି ଜଳସମ୍ପଦ ବିଭାଗ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟର ସମୀକ୍ଷା କରି ଏପରି କହିଛନ୍ତି ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ମୋହନ ଚରଣ ମାଝୀ।
Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi today reviewed the progress of the Water Resources Department and assured that farmers will soon receive adequate irrigation support. He stated that the government will focus on water conservation and build more dams to ensure year-round water availability.
