India and the European Union have signed a historic Free Trade Agreement, marking a major milestone in bilateral relations. Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the development yesterday, stating that the agreement has been finalised between two of the world’s largest economies to strengthen economic partnership and cooperation.

Welcoming the agreement, Prime Minister Modi described it as the “mother of all deals,” saying it will create significant opportunities for the people of India and Europe. He highlighted that the partnership sets an example of strong collaboration between two major global economic powers, covering around 25 percent of global GDP and one-third of global trade.
