ସରି ଆସୁଛି କାର୍ତ୍ତିକ। କାଲିଠୁ ଆରମ୍ଭ ହେବ ପଞ୍ଚୁକ। ଏଥର ୫ ଦିନ ବଦଳରେ ୪ ଦିନ ପଞ୍ଚୁକ। ପଞ୍ଚୁକରେ ଭକ୍ତମାନେ କେବଳ ବାହାର କାଠ ନିକଟରୁ ମହାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଦର୍ଶନ ପାଇବେ। ତେବେ କାର୍ତ୍ତିକ ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣିମା ଦିନ ପ୍ରଥମ ଭୋଗ ମଣ୍ଡପ ପରେ ଭିତର କାଠ ଦର୍ଶନ କରାଯିବ। ଶ୍ରୀକ୍ଷେତ୍ରକୁ ଛୁଟିବ ଲକ୍ଷାଧିକ ଭକ୍ତଙ୍କ ସୁଅ। ଶୃଙ୍ଖଳିତ ଦର୍ଶନ ଓ ସୁରକ୍ଷା ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥାକୁ ଅଧିକ କଡ଼ାକଡ଼ି କରିଛି ପୋଲିସ। ଭକ୍ତମାନେ କେବଳ ସିଂହଦ୍ବାର ଦେଇ ପ୍ରବେଶ ଓ ଅନ୍ୟ ତିନି ଦ୍ବାରରେ ପ୍ରସ୍ଥାନ ପାଇଁ ନିଷ୍ପତ୍ତି ହୋଇଛି।

With the sacred month of Kartika coming to a close, the holy period of Panchuka begins in Puri from tomorrow. Unlike previous years, Panchuka will be observed for four days instead of five this time. Devotees will be allowed darshan of Lord Jagannath only from the outer barricades (Bahar Katha) throughout the Panchuka days.
