Choose Government Hospitals for Normal Delivery, Says Odisha Health Minister

ଘରୋଇ ହସ୍ପିଟାଲରେ ଅଧିକ ହେଉଛି ସିଜେରିଆନ୍ ଡେଲିଭରୀ। ତେଣୁ ନର୍ମାଲ୍ ଡେଲିଭରୀ ପାଇଁ ସରକାରୀ ହସ୍ପିଟାଲ ବାଛନ୍ତୁ। ବିଧାନସଭାରେ ଏଭଳି ଲିଖିତ ଉତ୍ତର ରଖିଛନ୍ତି ସ୍ୱାସ୍ଥ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ମୁକେଶ ମହାଲିଙ୍ଗ। ଗତ ୫ ବର୍ଷରେ ସରକାରୀ ହସ୍ପିଟାଲରେ ଅଧିକ ନର୍ମାଲ୍ ଡେଲିଭରି ହୋଇଥିବା ବେଳେ ଘରୋଇ ହସ୍ପିଟାଲରେ ଅଧିକ ସିଜେରିଆନ୍ ଡେଲିଭରି ହୋଇଛି।

Odisha Health Minister Mukesh Mahaling has advised expectant mothers to choose government hospitals for normal delivery. In a written reply in the State Assembly, he stated that over the past five years, government hospitals have recorded a higher proportion of normal deliveries, while private hospitals continue to show significantly higher rates of Caesarean procedures.
